Hi, I'm Linh.

I like understanding how things work and building things that make sense.

This isn't a highlight reel, my CV does that. It's a quieter look at eight years of work, and what each place taught me.

  1. Chapter 1

    First steps

    • Year: 2018
    • Role: Intern, then Marketing Executive

I started as an intern, went full-time after a month, and was then asked to take charge of activities at a new branch. The job was filling classes: events (site checks, set-ups, STEAM Day, workshops, press days), plus social, content, SEO and a chatbot. When no MC turned up, I hosted and led the games for the kids myself, as an introvert.

Still an introvert, still the MC.

After work, when the team felt like family.
Colleagues holding bottles and cans around a table with a cake, one taking a selfie in the foreground.
Day one in the new office, before it was even set up.

    Learning the funnel

    • Years: Feb 2019 – Jun 2022
    • Role: Performance Marketing Specialist, then Team Lead

I joined as a performance marketer and went through three funding rounds, with constant pressure to deliver revenue. From December 2020 I led the team, with revenue as the main KPI.

    Year 1
Started everything from scratch. I taught myself how to set up website tracking, built web pages and ran A/B tests relentlessly, laying the foundation for the performance work that came after.
    Year 2
Kept growth steady, tested a few new markets and built organic traffic. SEO return is slow and hard to measure, so I balanced paid and organic, ran a separate Vietnam site, targeted lower-funnel keywords and pushed them with paid search, and leadership agreed to invest more.
    Year 3
Pushed retargeting and automation, and simplified online payment to shorten the time from deal to close.

    Moments

At the desk, with a bubble tea.
Three colleagues posing on bar stools in front of a blue office wall with astronaut and rocket cut-outs.
With teammates, in front of the rocket wall.

    Scaling up

    • Years: Jul 2022 – Aug 2026
    • Role: Associate Digital Marketing Manager, then Media Manager

I moved from running acquisition campaigns to leading digital brand strategy across owned, paid and earned channels. I built a full-funnel measurement framework that links brand metrics to performance and ROI, wrote the media playbook from scratch, led a nine-person cross-functional team, and piloted AI workflows to shorten the campaign cycle.

    Moments

A woman in a mask and glasses typing at a desk in an open-plan office, her reflection in the glass behind her.
A quiet hour at the desk.
Four colleagues in black company polos and lanyards on a busy street beside a vendor's cart.
Out in the field, away from the dashboards.
Two colleagues working side by side, one in a denim jacket and mask, the other seen from behind in a green polo.
Working it through, side by side.
Framed certificates and thank-you notes from campaigns laid out on a white table.
Four years, one table of thank-yous.

    Building

    • Years: Aug 2026 – present
    • Role: Taking a gap, on purpose
    • Place: Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam

I left my media manager role in August 2026 to take some time for myself. I am reading more than I have in years, learning a new language, and enjoying slower days. I also build things for fun, like this site with its own CMS and an SEO tool that plans, writes and audits posts.

How I work

Data-driven
Every decision traces back to a number or a stated assumption.
Automation-first
If I repeat a task, I ask whether a system should do it.
Builder mindset
I build the dashboard, then use it to answer the question.

Say hi.

Happy to talk about media, measurement and automation, or about a book you think I should read.
